Duplicate photos & videos
Identical files are grouped by exact fingerprint; near-identical burst shots by visual similarity. Each group suggests a keeper; you tick the rest.
Blurry photos
Sharpness is analyzed one photo at a time on-device, gathering out-of-focus shots in one place for a quick review.
Large & long videos
Filter the biggest and longest videos with custom thresholds, and see exactly how much space each deletion frees before you confirm.
Smart categories
Screenshots, screen recordings, Live Photos, GIFs, and bursts are sorted automatically; combine size, duration, and date-range filters.
On-device compression
Compress videos at 480P / 720P / 1080P on your phone. The result is saved as a new file and the original stays until you choose to remove it.
You stay in control
The app never deletes anything automatically. Every removal needs your confirmation and goes through the system “Recently Deleted” album, recoverable for about 30 days.
Four promises
- Photos, videos, thumbnails, filenames, and scan results stay on the device — the app has no server capable of receiving them. See the Privacy Policy.
- Bulk scans never download iCloud originals; cloud-only items are skipped and clearly marked instead of silently using your data.
- Similarity and blur results come from algorithms that can be imperfect, so the app only organizes and suggests — deletion always needs your explicit confirmation.
- No accounts, no ads, no analytics SDK. The app is free to download, with media browsing and basic features free; advanced organizing tools such as duplicate cleanup and smart categorization are membership features.
Release status
LumaClear is not yet available on the App Store and cannot be downloaded.
The feature set is complete; we are validating scan performance and stability on real, large libraries (tens of thousands of photos). This page will link the store listing once review is passed.
